Introduction
American football
Football is a team sport known for mixing complex strategies and intense physical play. Born 100 years ago in the United States as an evolution of English rugby. It is one of the most competitive contact sports in the United States, Canada and to a lesser extent Argentina, Mexico and Japan and it is currently practiced in over 60 countries.
Rules
1. - The field is 100 yards, marked every 5 with solid line and 10 with a number.
Two. - These numbers move as follows
10-20-30-40-50-40-30-20-10
Three. - The game is to bring the ball to the end of the field (endzone) the opposing team.
April. - The ways to score is 4 (5):
4.1. - TD: 6 points, is to come up with the ball to the opposing team's endzone.
4.2. - Field goal: 3 points, field goal, is to pass the ball by between posts located in the endzone.
4.3. - Extra Point: After scoring a touchdown, the attacking team has two options:
4.3.1. - 1 point, kicking the ball between the posts with a field goal.
4.3.2. - 2 points, trying to bring the ball back to the endzone from the 1-yard line of the opposing team.
4.4. - Safety: 2 points, almost never seen, is to tackle (paste and bring down) to a player who is attacking in its own endzone.
May. - The way forward the ball is measured in Downs (attempts, similar to try in rygby), it has 4 downs to advance a minimum of 10 yards, if that distance is exceeded, you have room again 4 attempts to advance another 10 yards.
5.1. - So when you see a game on TV you hear something like
"Three and four" means that they are on the 3rd attempt and missing 4 yards to complete the 10, and so get another 4 attempts.
June. - The balloon can move in two ways:
6.1. - Race: QB (Quarterback, QB) passes the ball in the hands of a broker (RB, Running Back usually) and it tries to advance the most yards possible
6.2. - Passing: QB throws the ball, and another player (WR, Wing Receiver, receptop) catches him and tries to move forward with the ball (rarely make progress, the main goal is to catch)
July. - The 4 stroke matches last 15 minutes each time at the end of February there is a rest during 15 minutes, the games usually last about two hours, this because the clock stops several times:
7.1. - When the ball leaves the field.
7.2. - After a touchdown.
7.3. - After a failed pass.
7.4. - When the player carrying the ball out of the field.
7.5. - When they ask for review of the play (the game is constantly recorded, if one of the coaches believed that a bill was wrong, has the right to appeal and that play is reviewed by the referee on a screen, the play can be maintained or canceled Each coach has 3 attempts, but will only have the second if the first was successful).
7.6. - At the end of every 4th.
7.7. - With just two minutes to finish the 2nd and the 4th time.
August. - Later this ultra Notes post summarized.
8.1. - Because it's so hard to try to hit the ball bearing is for a specific purpose, do you release (fumble, balloon loose), if the ball is dropped, the first team to start attacking control where you independent play stop attacking or defending if he was.
8.2. - The because you try to hit the QB is for a few reasons
8.2.1. - The principal is demoralizing, press it and scare him. and therefore passes start giving erratic and easy to intercept.
8.2.2. - Raising an Fumble (Fumble).
